Froggie is a desk lamp project that inspires playful creativity. It captures the very moment when a frog rises above water. The eyes are represented as lighting sources, and the exposed body above water as a base. Froggie’s eyes are made to be bendable. Each nostril is equipped with a touch sensor button where users can turn on and off each light.

Froggie was inspired by "double life" of amphibians between land and water. Frogs have the permeable skin, which allows them to breathe through the skin in water. They also breathe through the nostrils above the water surface or on land.

Users are able to manipulate its eye shapes by adjusting their positions, which could render various lighting effects.
